Trusts

There are many reasons why you might wish to create a Trust, including a desire to make favourable arrangements for some or all of the reasons set out below.  Trusts involve real consequences and it is therefore important to choose suitable people as Trustees - by handing over property to a Trust you are effectively putting it under the control of others.

Trustees’ Duties

Trustees’ duties are strict.  If you are a trustee, we can help you keep within the law.   If you run a pension trust for your business employees, you may need special advice and a pensioneer trustee can help you here too.

Various types of Trusts, including Accumulation & Maintenance and other Discretionary can be used to assist:

  • Children.
  • Grandchildren.
  • Widowed Spouses.
  • Second families.
  • Asset protection.
  • Taxation.
  • Charitable foundations.
  • Insurance vehicles.
  • Pension Benefits.
  • Pension Trusts.
