While we can and do advise on bespoke amendments (which is common especially with design and build contracts) clients need to know that any change in the balance of the contract may save cost if disputes arise but may add to the cost of the project at the outset.
Disputes can still occur even where the contracts and other documents are well drafted. In these circumstances, it is important to think through thoroughly how the dispute should be resolved - is adjudication the best option? If so, how should the claim be presented?
