Vivienne is a Partner in our Property Department. Vivienne has a wealth of experience in all aspects of commercial property, with particular emphasis on commercial leasing in the retail and leisure sectors. Being a shopaholic there are few shopping centres, retail parks and town centres in Scotland she’s not familiar with. Vivienne acts for a significant number of high street and out of town retailers and is valued for her focused, commercial and pragmatic approach.
Areas of her expertise include acquisitions, disposals and lease renewals, advising on landlord and tenant issues, including rent reviews and dilapidations, portfolio re-structuring projects (having been involved in a number of these for major retail and industrial clients), investment purchases and lettings, property aspects of cross border corporate/commercial transactions, banking and property finance and franchising.
Vivienne is dual qualified, having been admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2002. This gives her a unique perspective and allows her to add value when acting for non-Scottish based operators active in the Scottish property market.
Vivienne recently became Signet Accredited in Commercial Property.
