Neil has experience in dealing with varied commercial contract work covering a variety of forms of contract for sale, supply, procurement and marketing activities (including e-commerce and affinity/joint venture activities). This includes the provision of regulatory advice with regard to contractual issues and project implementation.
Neil has developed a specialised practice in utility related contracts, particularly in relation to energy. His experience includes advising on and drafting terms and conditions for ScottishPower's contracts for the supply of gas and electricity, with particular emphasis on interpretation of and compliance with statutory and regulatory regimes, particularly gas supply, transportation and shipping and electricity supply, generation and distribution.
Neil also advises on energy efficient projects and the drafting of various marketing agreements, including marketing and commercial agent appointments, "supply alliance" agreements with third parties and other product promotion agreements.
