David’s practice covers a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. He has a strong track record in share and asset acquisitions and disposals, corporate re-structures, joint ventures, investments/funding and corporate governance and is experienced in advising partnerships, friendly societies, industrial and provident societies and other unincorporated associations in addition to the more typically encountered legal entities.
David also has extensive experience in commercial contracts, with particular expertise in the energy and renewables sector. He has worked closely with ScottishPower over a number of years on a large number of gas, power and coal contracts and power purchase agreements.
He works for a wide variety of clients including ScottishPower, CMA Scotland, Loganair Limited and Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited.
