Campbell Smith was appointed a Partner in 1974 and has worked assiduously to develop the Corporate Department to its present strength.
After seven years in the role of Managing Partner, Campbell rejoined the Corporate Department on 31st December 2003. Campbell has extensive corporate experience especially in corporate acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures and insurance company reorganisations.
His project work has included on-shore gas and pipeline projects, banking, friendly societies, insurance company demutualisations and restructurings and railway privatisation.
Over the years he has acted for a large number of substantial private companies and some public companies advising on a wide range of commercial matters and transactions. He also has considerable experience of partnership matters.
