Gill joined Biggart Baillie in 2001 as Librarian and has since developed the information service within the firm to encompass all aspects of Knowledge Management and information provision. In 2011 she moved into Quality Assurance Management, applying the principles of KM to a much wider scope throughout the whole organisation.
As Quality Assurance Manager Gill identifies best practice from within the Firm and external sources, then creates and implements policies and procedures to ensure that this best practice is applied consistently across all our operations, in order to ensure the highest standard of quality for our clients and staff.
Gill is a qualified Consultant for the Lexcel Practice Management Standard, certified by the Law Society of England and Wales and is currently involved in the Firm’s implementation of the ISO 27001 Information Security Standard.
Gill has been published in the Journal of the Law Society of Scotland on KM issues, provides external training seminars on Legal Research for Lawyers and Librarians and is a past Convenor of the Scottish Law Librarians Group.
