Commercial Property
Edinburgh - Senior Assistant/Associate (3 Yrs+ PQE)
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of commercial property clients from private developers through to the hospitality industry and major high street retailers, giving you exposure to a significant level of client contact. You will be a forward thinking individual who is ready to take the next step in your career, to realise your ambitions by working within a dynamic team to achieve both your and the department’s targets and goals.

Glasgow - Assistant (2Yrs + PQE)
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to help serve the commercial property requirements of some of the UK’s leading commercial and residential developers. You will work closely with a senior partner in a small, hard-working team and will enjoy substantial client contact and a significant degree of independence. High quality legal skills are a must as well as a dynamic and commercial problem-solving approach to delivering deals. We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented lawyer keen to shine in a fast-moving and supportive environment.

Glasgow/Edinburgh - Professional Support Lawyer (4yrs + PQE)
We are looking for a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to develop an established role within our property department.  We are a leading provider of legal services in the real estate sector with an enviable client base and a strong track record in retail, investment, development, property finance and the public sector.

We need to ensure that our practitioners are at the top of their game and a key player in this process is the PSL.  You will be involved in developing and maintaining know-how (including standard form documents and precedents), developing and providing training to lawyers, assisting fee-earners with general enquiries on commercial property matters and ensuring that they are briefed on the latest developments in the law.

This role would suit a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is looking to develop their legal career in a rewarding and stimulating way. You will have hands on experience of handling complex commercial property transactions and will be motivated by a genuine interest in commercial property and the development of both your own and other’s practical skills and knowledge.

You will have a strong academic background and an agile intellect as well as sound commercial acumen and a practical, constructive approach to problem solving.  This role offers regular hours and the possibility of flexible working.


Corporate
Edinburgh - Associate (5-8 Yrs PQE) - Scottish or English qualified
These positions offer you the opportunity to join a dynamic team with an excellent reputation in its field. The vacancies reflect the ambitions of this team to continue to develop by offering the right people the opportunity to thrive and make a real impact on our business. You will be experienced in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, particularly mergers & acquisitions, management buy outs,
corporate finance and commercial contracts.

excellent communication skills with the ability to build up a level of client trust.

Pensions
Glasgow – Solicitor (NQ+)
This role forms part of the pensions team which sits within the Corporate department of the firm. The pensions department consists of a close, friendly team which would give the right candidate an ideal opportunity to grow and develop in a stimulating working environment.

Experience in pensions law would be an advantage but is not essential. This role would suit a person who is keen to embrace a new challenge and explore this specialist and ever changing area of law. 

This role will suit an individual who is able to assimilate knowledge quickly and thrives in an ever changing area of law. Someone with an analytical mind who has a capacity to work to a high level of detail with a complex and challenging subject matter.

This role involves giving advice to a wide range of clients including trustees, employers, members and ex-members of pension schemes, analysing corporate vendors and purchasers, and advising financial service companies and institutions on all aspects of pensions law.

Specific training in pensions law is available and would be provided through in house training  and external seminars.

Relevant legal specialisms include; tax law, employment law, investment law, corporate law, and trusts.

Glasgow | Personal Injury Solicitor (NQ - 2Yrs PQE)

We are looking for enthusiastic, ambitious and hardworking individual who is self aware and confident in their abilities. Candidates should be comfortable with (a) a client facing role as well as being a team player (both internally and externally) and (b) running their own caseload.

Varied workload including  …

 - Health & safety and insurance based issues (contentious and non-contentious)

 - Defending Employers Liability accident/personal injury claims as well as asbestos, HAVS, deafness, occupational asthma and dermatitis, Fatal Accident Inquiries and HSE Prosecutions

 - Claims involving Public liability, Occupiers liability, as well as Road Traffic claims and Medical negligence cases

 - Transport sector, dealing with claims on behalf of road and railway businesses alike, and also the utilities sector

 - Property damage claims for utility sector
