Robin is an Associate in our Commercial Property and Property Dispute Management teams.  He advises on all aspects of commercial property including development work, acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, investment and property finance. Recent deal highlights include advising Amazon.co.uk Limited and Amazon Development Centre (Scotland) Limited on their new office and call centre premises at Waverley Gate, Edinburgh.

Robin has a particular strength in marine and aquaculture work and advises Marine Harvest (Scotland) Limited on all land and sea aspects regarding their Salmon fish farm operations. In recent months he has also advised Apache North Sea Limited, a subsidiary of Houston based Apache Corporation, on all Scottish Law aspects relating to its agreement to acquire the North Sea Oil & Gas assets of Exxon Mobil Corporation’s Mobil North Sea LLC for US$1.75 billion which was signed 21 September 2011. This transaction is expected to expand significantly Apache’s footprint in the North Sea which commenced with the acquisition of the Forties Field in 2003.

Robin also specialises in dealing with all aspects of property litigation such as title disputes, access problems and landlord and tenant disputes.  He has experience in property litigation both in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session.

Robin has acted for a range of our significant clients, including Marks and Spencer p.l.c, Amazon.co.uk Limited, Marine Harvest (Scotland) Limited, Homebase Limited, Cocklaw Developments Limited and a number of our University sector clients.

Clients appreciate his technical ability allied with a pragmatic attitude and commercial awareness.
