Neil has a broad range of property and commercial property experience which includes acting for house builders, corporate and individual property investors and developers, clearing banks, specialist property finance providers and financial institutions; providing advice in respect of purchases, sales, leasing, site assembly and taking security over property. Neil is also experienced in providing advice and support in corporate transactions and to colleagues involved in property litigation.
Prior to joining Biggart Baillie, Neil worked as a solicitor for a large international legal practice where he specialised in real estate finance transactions. Neil acted for borrowers, banks and financial institutions advising on both the property and banking aspects of property and corporate transactions. Neil is therefore familiar with both domestic and multi-jurisdictional transactions and transactions involving specialist property investment vehicles.
Neil is also qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
