Lynne is an associate in our Dispute Management Department. She regularly represents clients in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland and has a wealth of experience of Court of Session litigation. Lynne has a wide variety of litigation clients however Lynne’s main area of specialism is in the field of property litigation whereby she regularly advises on all aspects of title and lease documentation including issues such as rent collection, dilapidations claims, irritancy of leases, removal of unauthorised occupiers, interpretation of lease provisions, enforcement of keep-open clauses, unauthorised assignation/sub-letting and issues arising in relation to rent reviews. Lynne also has interests in contractual disputes, insolvency, professional negligence and a variety of public law matters, particularly in the field of judicial review, advising clients on progressing such an action but also in advising clients on how best to avoid such action and how best to respond to any such threat.
Lynne explains the litigation procedure in a client friendly manner and gives honest advice. Clients welcome Lynne’s commercial and proactive approach.
