Louise is an Associate in our Infrastructure, Environment and Transport Department and specialises in environmental and transport matters.
Louise has a wide range of environmental experience in areas such as the contaminated land regime, waste management licensing, water and sewerage regulation and IPC / PPC operational authorisation matters.
She has advised local authorities, site owners, developers, tenants and lenders on site investigation, remediation, contingency planning and risks and liabilities associated with contaminated sites.
Louise also provides corporate and property transactional support, including due diligence work and negotiation of the allocation of environmental liability and risks, in addition to providing specialist support in regulatory and litigation matters.
In relation to transport matters, Louise also has experience of a range of regulatory issues on all modes of transport and associated projects. In that regard Louise has been involved in a number of sizeable projects and the associated property and wider commercial and legal aspects of them.
In addition, Louise also provides support on Scottish Parliamentary matters for clients across the firm.
Louise is a member of the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association (UKELA).
