Greg is an Associate and has extensive experience in all areas of commercial property transactions with a clear focus on the need for commercial advice in a changing market. Developing close relationships with clients is key to understanding their businesses, and in this respect Greg relies upon his personable and focused approach to find commercial solutions and meet clients’ needs.
Having qualified in 1996, he has extensive experience acting for both landlords and tenants in shopping centres and on the high street and over the years has acted for a number of retailers including Starbucks, Halfords, New Look, Habitat and Benetton.
He also has considerable experience acting for landlords and tenants in the office, business park and industrial sectors and in dealing with residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
Greg has been involved in a number of investment, funding and corporate cross border transactions playing a major role advising on Scottish property aspects of the Blackstone acquisition of the Hilton Group.
As part of the Real Estate Finance team he also works closely with the Banking and Finance team and has recently been involved acting for a funder on two major BPRA hotel deals in Glasgow City Centre.
When not working, Greg is most often found on the golf course or at the 19th hole, but also plays five-a-side football and for relaxation enjoys movies, music and reading.
