Carly is an associate in the firm’s Infrastructure, Environment and Transport (IET) department. Her background is as a commercial property lawyer, and Carly has extensive commercial property experience. She has acted for a wide range of corporate clients dealing with all their real esate requirements, as well as on development and project work.
Carly has particular knowledge of maritime-related issues and the onshore/offshore interface, through acting for a multi-national oil company relative to the onshore property interests of its upstream business, and for the asset owning company for the Clyde and Hebrides Ferry Service. Working within IET, Carly is able to bring to bear for her clients’ benefit the full range of experience and expertise of the multi-disciplinary IET team. This includes planning and environmental law. Clients value Carly’s proactive and friendly approach.
In addition to Carly’s client facing role she provides professional support to the members of the IET department which includes ensuring awareness of legal developments, carrying out legal research and developing the department’s style bank.
