Aileen is an associate in our commercial property department and is based in our Edinburgh office. She has a wide range of experience in commercial property, including acting for both landlords and tenants in leasehold transactions (dealing with acquisitions and disposals as well as the documentation of lease variations, consents and other aspects of commercial property management), heritable/freehold sales and purchases (including sales and purchases of investment property), security transactions and general conveyancing matters. Aileen is also experienced in providing advice on and dealing with Scottish property aspects of UK wide transactions.
Aileen deals with a mix of properties and works with a wide range of clients of the firm, including several leading UK and international retailers, property investment companies and others, and is heavily involved with managing legal matters for a successful shopping centre in the west of Scotland for an institutional investor client.
