Further Accolade for Biggart Baillie – Biggart Baillie scoops Commercial Property Team of the Year at Scottish Legal Awards.
In recognition of outstanding performance in the commercial property arena over the past 12 months, leading Scottish law firm Biggart Baillie, was crowned ‘Commercial Property Firm of the Year’ at the Scottish Legal Awards 2011 ceremony held on 17th March in the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
Over the past 12 months, Biggart Baillie has been awarded CSR Firm of the Year, Commercial Property Team of the Year (September 2010 – Scottish Law Awards) and Public Sector Team of the Year (March 2010 – Scottish Legal Awards).
Alasdair Peacock, Biggart Baillie’s Managing Partner, said the award reflects the huge team effort across the firm. “The firm’s success is not based on any one individual, but on the superb teamwork of the highly talented and focused teams across the firm. The credit for winning this award is shared by everyone within the firm.”
The 2011 Scottish Legal Awards, the largest event of its kind in Scotland, saw 29 firms and companies progress to the final stage. The 12 judges deliberated on a high number of entries - a thirty per cent increase on 2010 numbers - indicating that the awards process is valued by the legal profession across Scotland. Judges considered entries in 13 categories this year, covering major aspects of commercial law in Scotland.
