Biggart Baillie named ‘Public Sector Team of the Year’ at Scottish Legal Awards 2010

In recognition of outstanding growth and success in the Scottish Public Sector, leading Scottish law firm, Biggart Baillie, was named ‘Public Sector Team of the Year’ at the Scottish Legal Awards ceremony on Friday 19th March 2010.

In the last 18 months, Biggart Baillie’s growth strategy in the public sector has resulted in a strong performance, with some impressive client wins including VisitScotland, The Scottish Children’s Reporters Administration, The Scottish Intellectual Assets Centre, Scottish Health Innovations Limited and Robert Gordons University, driving overall turnover from the sector up by approximately 12%.
Judges were particularly impressed by the firm’s philosophy of ‘Taking Business Personally’ and its understanding of the key drivers in the sector. As a result, the firm has gained many new public sector clients and has been recognised by the Legal 500 as a key player in the Scottish public sector market.
