In recent years, we have been heavily involved in transactions ranging from the relatively commonplace multi-jurisdictional investment property portfolios through to highly complex multi-national business acquisitions, mergers and securitisations. We also have experience of large-scale UK-wide industry privatisations such as the electricity, rail and air traffic control sectors.
In addition, we are members of the Euro-American Lawyers Group (EALG). The EALG is an association of Law Firms founded in 1985. The members of EALG believe that they can best serve their clients' interests overseas by co-operating with like-minded firms who have local knowledge of, and immediate access to, the legal system operating in their own jurisdictions. Through the EALG connection, Biggart Baillie has contributed to a number of large projects including the cross border purchase and sales of aircraft and contracts for the supply of gas from the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.
